*1
*Newly washed cans - noticed that Nad really smelled each one.
Started with just the Hot in 1
Then quickly added more decoys till got to all containers filled
*2
one tossed treat went into a can on the wheel which I didn't realize at first causing Nad to spend more time on that can which i did not count as an incorrect indicator. It was corrected as soon as i removed the treat.
*3
When Nad incorrectly indicated, i forgot to reset him, however, I did give him the release cue ('go') again.
*4
*5
Nad stopped to get a drink of water - he had just come in from outside before the session.
On rep 6, he paused just a little on an incorrect container and I didn't think he was indicating, so then he went to the correct container and I made sure by getting more duration.
*6
Nad incorrectly marked the first rep. Reset him and went on with total success after that.
Tea Bag Test I:D
ReplyDeletescent wheel full w/donor non-event saliva sample
non-event saliva sample means "the same but without scent"
Because its a tea bag, we will use Earl Grey as the target, another kind of tea as the variable (you will need 5)
I'd suggest a flavored herbal tea if you have one in your pantry.
Nad has tested with variable before, but not a non-event sample as a variable so begin "teaching" him from the beginning
Session 1
Set 1: begin with just the new target (Sample 2)
Set 2: t add a single dummy containing the variable
how you go depends on Nad
we are explaining to him that he is still finding the target
same as adding any other variable
Set 3: depends on Nad
either a repeat of Set 2
OR
add a second dummy
Session 2
Sets 1 - 3
continue adding variable dummies
